2012 Block of the Month Quilts
1. A whimsical Christmas quilt by Bunny Hill called “Merry, Merry Snowmen.” For those who enjoy appliqué and snowmen this is the quilt for you! The quilt is 62 x 66 in size and uses fabrics in tones of red, tan, and cream. We are going to set this quilt up in three units of fabric for ease of sewing and cutting and to keep the cost down. Each unit will cost $60 for a total of $180. This will include the pattern and fabric for the top of your quilt. Sections will be ready for pick up in: February, May, and August. You will have time to complete this quilt before Christmas so you can have it up for display.
3. “Little Houses” Embroidery Quilt designed by Bareroots Design is a series of 12 houses which use simple backstitch, french knots, and a daisy stitch to make one adorable quilt which celebrates the seasons throughout the year. We will feature one block each month. The finished quilt will measure approximately 33 x 44 without borders. You will receive a pattern each month, your muslin for the embroidery, and fabric for your blocks at a cost of $9.95 per month.
