HEN FEATHERS CLUBS ~ 2012
Our clubs are a great way to get to know other quilters, learn new techniques, and to have fun. All clubs cost $36 for the year. Space is limited so don’t delay signing up.
1. Jo Morton’s Little Women’s club – Meets the 1st Thursday at 6pm. A new club this year in which you will create 9 small quilt projects designed by Jo Morton. Each project will include the pattern and a demonstration of the technique for each quilt.
2. Cool Chicks – This club meets 2nd Thursday of each month at 10:30 am, 1:30 pm or 6 pm. We will work on various projects throughout the year. Along with lots of talking, a new pattern will be presented at each class along with a demonstration for making the project.
3. Outlaw Chicks – Meets the 4th Thursday of each month at 6pm. We will be working on various projects throughout the year. Lots of chatting and sharing take place, while a new pattern is presented at each class along with a demonstration for making the project. The cost for the club is $36 for the year.
Sampler Quilt 3rd Thursday of each month at 6 PM or 3rd Saturday at 10:30 or 1:00
We will continue to have our popular Sampler class this year. You have a choice of 3 class times and 7 color ways. This year’s sampler will be a 6 month class in which we will make 2 of the same blocks each month but by rearranging the colors they will look entirely different.
Sign up fee is $20 which will include the magazine we are using and your first kit. The remaining kits will be free as long as you do your homework and attend class. If you happen to miss a class or don’t get your homework completed, you can pay for your kit for a fee of $6.
